CRI designs and manufactures rugged embedded systems utilizing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components that are configured and assembled in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 & AS 9100 standards. Single board and other computer configurations can be modified and repackaged for use in ground vehicle, airborne, surface and subsurface military applications, and in commercial applications including oil-field service equipment and other heavy equipment vehicle systems. Our embedded systems can be packaged in custom-designed 1U, 2U, 3U, 4U, 5U, or 6U rack-mount enclosures or in customer-specified form factors. Based on your application requirements, CRI can design and build custom rugged embedded computers with quad core Xeon CPUs, SAS or SATA HDDs, and ATX or eATX motherboards to suit your real-time or near real-time processing needs. As an Authorized Federal Systems Integrator for Silicon Graphics (SGI), we also offer custom rugged versions of SGI systems, suitable for use in Mil-Spec environments.
By using tested COTS components in our custom rugged embedded systems, we are able to meet challenging delivery schedules which, in turn, minimize overall product development cost. Before final integration, optimal system performance is assured through environmental and functional acceptance tests. We are a one-stop shop offering turnkey embedded solutions that include product / component procurement, solution design, development, application engineering, integration, and technical support services.
Through life-cycle management programs tailored to suit your needs, CRI engineers work with you to mitigate the risks of premature system obsolescence. Our rugged embedded boards, integrated subsystems, application-specific custom solutions, and powered enclosures are used for rugged embedded computing applications in defense, space, and aeronautical industries.
