CRI has extensive experience in the design and manufacture of custom rugged enclosures for computer chassis, commercial workstation components, CISCO MAR router cards, and SGI products deployed across a broad range of challenging environmental conditions. From the design and procurement of machined/sheet metal parts to integration of electronic components, we offer complete turnkey solutions. Designed with Solid Works-3D software to exact customer specifications, our custom enclosures can be precision-fit and mounted on all types of equipment.
Built from high-quality mil-spec material, our enclosures withstand a variety of climatic/environmental conditions - be it shock, vibration, rain, dust, heat, cold, or usage in unstable terrain areas prone to earthquakes. We can provide sealed aluminum enclosures for rugged COTS electronics, keyboards with track ball options, as well as options for rack mount, backlighting, and slide mount applications. We have, for example, designed MIL-STD 810E chassis enclosures for rugged wireless mobile access routers as well as 1U and 6U enclosures for US Air Force equipment. We routinely provide custom enclosures for servers based on the latest Intel and AMD CPU technologies.
Our years of experience with rack design, integration, and expert installation help ensure our customers’ requirements for shock/vibration isolation, cooling, and EMI/EMC shielding are never compromised. Our rugged hardware and rack integration solutions are used in many US Army, Air Force, Navy and NASA applications.
For applications that require multiple, interconnected functional units and peripherals, we can provide our customers with integrated solutions consisting of repackaged COTS computers married with displays, keyboards, trackballs, and other compatible peripherals that collectively fit into a standard 19” equipment rack.
